The Fraser Valley Fanatics Player of the Year Award is the most significant honor a Vancouver FC player can receive from our passionate supporter group.
This annual award, decided exclusively by FVF members, recognizes the individual who exemplifies excellence across four crucial pillars that define the values of the Fraser Valley Fanatics. Eligibility starts with a baseline Commitment of playing at least 10 matches, but the recipient must go above and beyond, showcasing truly exceptional Performance and on-field quality throughout the season in the Canadian Premier League.
The winner of the Fanatics Cup is the player who best embodies the Symbolic Spirit of the Eagle, a benchmark that goes far beyond mere statistics. This recipient must play with undeniable bravery, strength, and power on the pitch, while also consistently demonstrating the deeper traits of self-expression and enlightenment in their representation of the club.
Crucially, the honoree is someone who actively demonstrates a profound Community Impact, consistently engaging with the fans, supporters, and the community the club represents. The Fanatics are proud to honor this individual—a true champion both on and off the pitch—with the Fanatics Cup at the final home match.

FVF Player of the Year Winners
Being chosen as the first ever recipient for the FVF player of the year award is truly an honour, not only for myself but for the community I represented. Being a player from out of province receiving this award was also special to me, I truly felt at home playing for a club that just started literally from the ground up. All I can say is thank you to the ownership, coaching staff, business ops, kit-mans and my teammates for believing in me, trusting in me and continually pushing me everyday to be better.
It’s always an honour to be recognized by the fans because they’re the ones who are with us every step of the way. We strive to make them proud in all that we do and I’m always aware of that responsibility, and grateful for their support and recognition!
This award isn’t just about me — it reflects the hard work of everyone on the Dark Side. I’m truly grateful to our incredible fans for their belief and support; they push us to give our all every single game. Their energy and support mean everything, and I’m proud to represent Vancouver FC every time I step on the pitch.
