Our Visual Identity & Support
A quick look around Willoughby Community Park on match day will tell you exactly where to find us! Look for the splash of color and the handmade banners—that’s our home in THE VALLEY. We pour our passion into creating a vibrant visual atmosphere, a crucial part of how we show unwavering support for our players and our Club.
Our visual support is a constant presence. It begins with our signature railing banners that hang throughout the entire match. Beyond that, you’ll see members waving flags and holding up 2-sticks.
Large Scale Efforts
In addition to our regular matchday efforts, we create special, large-scale displays for key matches. Much like our singing and coordinated chants, these displays are designed to galvanize our side and spur them on to victory on the pitch. We’ve tackled displays of all shapes and sizes, always pushing the boundaries of what we can achieve.
Our Largest Spectacle: Our most ambitious effort was the “Welcome To The Dark Side” display for the Club’s inaugural home match on Sunday, May 7, 2023, at Willoughby. This monumental tifo incorporated the entire south end of the stadium.
Reaching New Heights: To cap the 2023 season and launch into 2024, we executed our largest-ever rigged display. Measuring the maximum rigging height of 20 feet tall by approximately 60 feet wide, these impressive visuals were focused on the powerful Eagle imagery, symbolizing soaring to new heights.
Simple Statements: Our repertoire also includes smaller, impactful actions, like single front-of-section banners such as “Everyone Welcome” and the “EAGLES BC Licence Plate.”
Fanatics On Tour
Our visual support isn’t limited to home turf. We have proudly brought our flair to select away matches, primarily traveling across the strait to Vancouver Island to face our provincial rivals, Pacific FC. Two particularly memorable displays stand out from these journeys:
“Sweet Dreams” from our inaugural away match on Saturday, April 15, 2023.
The powerful display of the Every Child Matters jersey banner on Truth & Reconciliation Day later that same season.
Get Involved
The execution of these visual projects—from massive tifos to custom banners—demands a significant commitment of time, energy, and funding from our group. It is a genuine labor of love, but one that our members have embraced with immense enthusiasm and dedication.
